Job Description

Software Engineer I” will be responsible to work on the custom programming need of the clients. Engineer will write code, test, and debug new software. Make enhancements to existing software from clear requirements. Participate in code reviews and identify basic issues or deviations from best practices. Develop knowledge of assigned solution, technologies, development processes and ecosystem. Engineer will be responsible to meet Customer requirements and should be able to establish/maintain relationships at the appropriate level between Oracle Health and Customer, to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution benefits, etc. Also, should be able to effectively communicate status updates of tasks to appropriate Customer contacts.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science preferred
  • Must have hands on experience in SQL programming and/or CCL
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Good team player
  • Quick learner & Problem-Solving skills
  • Knowledge at least one Cerner Millennium solution would be advantage
  • Knowledge of Java, WebSphere is good to have
  • Willing to work on a flexible schedule as needed
  • Willing to work overtime or irregular hours as needed
