UX Designer
Job Description
You will be part of the IGT Systems R&D Design team. This team comprises world-class Designers from the awarded Philips Experience Design community, based out of Best (NL) and Pune and Bangalore (India). The team is responsible for the User Experience, Product and Service experience design of all IGT Systems’ innovations and product lines
As a User Experience Designer, you will have the opportunity to shape how our software and digital services will improve the care and wellbeing of million of people across the globe. You will be able to build your career in a domain that is going through a massive digital transformation and directly support human kind’s top priorities.
Your role:
- Conducting and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research, supported by low-fidelity prototypes or design concepts.
- Create appealing and safe UX designs that help users to achieve their goals in the most intuitive and elegant manner, based on daily routines and workflows.
- Collaborate with key functions and stakeholders such as marketing, domain experts, usability experts, and engineering, to create desired UX design solutions.
- Good understanding of industry standards and best practices, technology and development processes, and support improving design system.
- Team player and support in increasing knowledge base of UX community.
- Establish strong cross-functional relationships, participate in collaborative problem-solving, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders
You’re the right fit if:
- BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech in Design with 5+ years of relevant UX Design experience.
- Defining UX requirements (incl. UX metrics)
- Writing use cases & scenarios
- Creating competitor or comparative benchmarks, e.g. mood board or opportunity maps
- Defining interaction architecture or maps, e.g. site map
- Defining UX flows (work/task flows) and UX concepts(wireframes)
- Creating experiential prototypes and prototyping tools e.g. Figma
- Accessibility guidelines e.g. W3C
- UI technologies e.g. HTML-5
- Regulated industry (health systems only)
- Clinical workflow and procedures (health systems only)
- Using and extending our design system (DLS)
- Software platforms and modularization
- Web and native UI technology
- Comparative and competitive analysis
How We Work Together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
