Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Wintel & VMware L2 Engineer to manage and support Windows-based infrastructure and virtualization environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and VMware technologies, along with server management expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage Active Directory users and groups
- Configure and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP services
- Perform DHCP backup and restoration
- Handle IP reservation and IP filtering in DHCP
- Create and manage DNS records
- Diagnose and resolve domain-related issues on client machines
- Support and manage VMware ESXi and vCenter environments
- Maintain and monitor HP Blade Systems (Chassis 7000) and iLO
- Perform firmware updates on HP Blade and Rack servers
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server Administration
- Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Basic experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter
- Familiarity with HP Blade Systems and server hardware
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in enterprise IT infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of server maintenance and upgrades
