Job Role: Supply Planner

Department: Delivery Planning – India Mkt

Education: BPharm

Experience: 3-5 of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Job Location: GRPPL plant, Sanand, Ahmedabad

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly production plans and collaborate with manufacturing to maximize capacity utilization and meet requirements.
  • Identify material shortages as per the manufacturing plan and coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery.
  • Manage short-term and long-term capacity planning activities, ensuring appropriate communication and escalation to plant management.
  • Identify and resolve supply exceptions by expediting purchase orders, reallocating materials, and managing capacity.
  • Lead the Campus S&OP for the plant, developing supply and demand forecasts aligned with operations and market needs.
  • Drive new product launches from the plant, holding fortnightly discussions with the market on new product visibility.
  • Plan exhibit and trial batches, including material planning.
  • Maintain a batch master for produced batches and coordinate the release of drug products with regulatory bodies for CDL Labs release.
  • Analyze inventory and ensure liquidation of slow-moving and non-moving inventory.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with manufacturing, quality, and supporting functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Note: Candidates with relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be preferred.
