We are committed to excellence in healthcare and are seeking a passionate Human Resources & Administrative Officer to enhance our workplace and support our growing team.

Job Summary:

As the HR & Administrative Officer, you will oversee all aspects of human resources and administrative operations to ensure a productive and positive work environment. From recruitment and onboarding to compliance and office management, you will play a pivotal role in supporting employees and managers while contributing to the company’s success. We are looking for a committed, approachable and highly efficient individual with a strong background in HR within the manufacturing industry, preferably pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full employment lifecycle, including recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, orientation and training of new staff members.
  • Administer HR functions such as payroll, benefits, attendance tracking, and leave management using MyCo HRMS or similar systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, disciplinary procedures, and company policies, maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Support employee engagement by addressing concerns, fostering a positive workplace culture, and assisting managers with HR-related queries.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including office management, vendor coordination, and maintaining organized documentation.
  • Contribute to policy development and process improvements to make Bionova Lifesciences a better place to work.
  • Uphold punctuality, attendance standards, and confidentiality in all HR and administrative duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Administrator, or similar role in the manufacturing industry (pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, pay & benefits, training and employee relations.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, disciplinary procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS (MyCo HRMS preferred) and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and ethical judgment with a commitment to reliability and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience).

Work Environment & Expectations:

  • This is a 6-day workweek role (Monday–Saturday) with fixed hours from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance are critical for success in this position.
  • You will work closely with a team of 50–60 employees, including factory workers and office staff, in a collaborative and hands-on setting.
