Role Overview
As a B.Tech Intern in Electrical Engineering, you will gain hands-on experience in various aerospace projects related to:
- Aircraft Power Distribution
- Hybrid Electric Propulsion Systems
- More Electric Propulsion Technologies
This internship provides opportunities to collaborate with experienced engineers and researchers while expanding your knowledge in Power Electronics, Embedded Controls, and System Modeling using AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Simulation and Analysis: Perform simulations and analyze electrical and electromechanical systems for aircraft applications.
- Power Converter Design: Support the design and development of power converters for hybrid and electric propulsion.
- Embedded Controls: Assist in developing and testing embedded control systems using FPGA and microcontrollers.
- High-Frequency Resonant Converters: Participate in designing high-frequency resonant converters for aerospace use.
- Research and Presentation: Contribute to research initiatives and present findings at internal meetings.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
- Project Support: Ensure project milestones are achieved with high-quality results.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- NOC (No Objection Certificate) from college for the summer internship.
- Basic understanding of Power Electronics and Control Systems.
- Knowledge of PCB Design and power circuit building.
- Familiarity with simulation tools like Matlab/Simulink and PLECS.
- Basic programming skills, especially in FPGA or Microcontroller environments.
- Basic proficiency in Python.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
