Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 7 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium along with domain expertise in Analytics. This hybrid role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can ensure the highest quality standards in our software products. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
- Oversee the automation of test scripts using Java and Selenium to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting of test results to stakeholders ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify document and resolve software defects and issues.
- Ensure that all software products meet the highest quality standards before release.
- Utilize domain expertise in Analytics to validate and verify data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct performance testing to identify and address potential bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Mentor and guide junior quality engineers sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality engineering and testing methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to support ongoing testing efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements in all testing activities.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
Qualifications
- Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium with a proven track record of successful test automation.
- Demonstrate domain expertise in Analytics with the ability to validate and verify data accuracy.
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
