Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Glue Data Engineer to join our data engineering team The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and a strong understanding of cloud based data architecture You will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions Key Responsibilities Design develop and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Databricks/Glue Spark and other AWS services Collaborate with data scientists analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements Optimize data workflows for performance scalability and cost efficiency Implement data quality checks validation and monitoring processes Integrate data from various sources including S3 RDS Redshift and external APIs Ensure data security and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards Document technical solutions and maintain data engineering best practices Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field 3 years of experience in data engineering with at least 12 years using AWS Glue Proficiency in Python Spark and SQL Strong understanding of AWS services such as S3 Lambda Redshift Athena and IAM Experience with data modeling data warehousing and big data technologies Familiarity with CICD pipelines and version control eg Git Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Data Analytics or Solutions Architect certification Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions Knowledge of data governance and metadata management tools Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure as code eg CloudFormation Terraform What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits Flexible work environment Opportunities for professional growth and certification Collaborative and inclusive team culture
