💡 Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and responsible Tech Lead – Linux L1 to manage day-to-day infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, and data center activities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on system management, issue resolution, and working in a high-availability environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage Linux systems, ensuring stability and performance
- Identify issues, troubleshoot, and provide timely resolutions
- Track and monitor backup processes and DC-DR replication
- Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implement permanent fixes
- Prepare and maintain checklists for DR drills and system activities
- Handle and resolve tickets within defined SLAs with customer confirmation
- Monitor hardware alerts using tools like IRS and SIM
- Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution with full ownership
- Raise Service Requests (SR) for critical deployments
- Maintain and update knowledge base documentation
- Prepare reports for reconciliation and system performance
- Support data center operations and infrastructure management
🧠 Required Skills & Knowledge
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration
- Good understanding of Linux OS, file systems, and user management
- Basic knowledge of LVM and Linux booting process
- Familiarity with backup monitoring and DC-DR synchronization
- Basic network troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of server, storage, and network hardware
- Experience in data center operations
