Job Description
📍 Location: On-site – Mumbai

🔍 Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Application Tester to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, ensuring both functional and non-functional requirements are met across frontend and backend systems.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Review business requirements and design documents to create test plans and scenarios
- Design and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
- Perform UI/UX, usability, cross-browser, and cross-platform testing
- Conduct backend testing including API validation and database checks
- Execute various testing types: functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, integration, and system testing
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA
- Maintain documentation such as test cases, execution reports, and traceability matrices
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Validate data integrity using SQL queries
- Support release validation and production testing
- Provide test status reports, metrics, and risk assessments
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in manual testing (web & mobile apps)
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
- Solid knowledge of SQL and database testing
- Experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Ability to write clear and effective test cases and reports
- Strong analytical and communication skills
🌟 Good to Have
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman
- Basic knowledge of automation testing
- Understanding of performance and security testing
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
