Identify areas that need to be monitored or analyzed on a consistent basis. Anticipate and prepare for potential issues and recommend resolutions. Report payroll processing and system issues as appropriate and assist with troubleshooting.<br /><br />

<li>Support management in accomplishing the organization’s payroll processing objectives and will serve as a “change agent” to promote best practices and technological advancements.</li>
<li>Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements. Lead cross functional teams in resolving process concerns and developing new processes. Maintain process documentation, validating policies and procedures against State and Provincial laws. Participate in periodic internal auditing of key responsibilities. <br /><br /></li>

<li>Multi-state/Provincial full cycle payroll processing, including time entry to general ledger entry.</li>

<li>Composition of knowledge base articles describing issues that have been reported and their resolution.</li>
<li>Escalating of defects to Internal Development teams for review and administration of communication and fixes between the customer and Development.</li>
<li>Providing production down weekend/off shift support (on rotation) to customers in system down scenarios.<br /><br /></li>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>Required Technical And Professional Expertise<br /><br /></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Core Java / JEE preferred or any programming language proficiency.</li>
<li>Strong communication Skills, both written and verbal.</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure to deliver solutions to customers.</li>
<li>Willingness to work in a customer facing role, on a rotational shift model (including weekends).</li>
<li>Quick learner and ability to pick up new product skills (Both on-prem and cloud).</li>
<li>Applicants should have the ability to research and understand technical documentation and understanding of how to apply various technical resources.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time.</li>
<li>Ability to exercise good judgment and effectiveness in working with a high performing team.<br /><br /></li>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>Preferred Technical And Professional Experience<br /><br /></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Troubleshooting skills, especially Java code / logs / Database troubleshooting skills (DB2 or Oracle) / Troubleshooting JMS / IBM MQ</li>
<li>Familiarity with Containers (e.g., Dockers) and Kubernetes. Knowledge on RedHat OpenShift/AWS will be an added advantage.</li>
<li>Understand and troubleshoot JSON, XML</li>
<li>Application Servers like WebSphere Liberty, Tomcat, Messaging services IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ</li>
<li>Any scripting language skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript)</li>
<li>Any Database knowledge IBM DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB with querying skills (e.g., SQL)</li>
<li>Basic understanding of Networking Protocols.</li>

The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.<br /><br />PURPOSE<br /><br />As a Training Design Graduate, you will be an integral part of the SITA at Borders training team, contributing to the development and delivery of effective training programs. This entry-level position provides an opportunity for recent graduates to grow and learn within the dynamic aerospace and border management IT industry.<br /><br />This role provides a supportive environment for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in training design within the aerospace and border management IT sector while working closely with a team of experienced professionals.<br /><br /><strong>Key Responsibilities<br /><br /></strong></p>

<li>Assist in Curriculum Development: Work alongside experienced training designers and trainers to contribute to the creation of training materials, including presentations, manuals, and multimedia content.</li>
<li>Support Instructional Design: Learn and apply instructional design principles under the guidance of senior team members. Contribute to the development of engaging learning experiences using various methodologies.</li>
<li>Technology Familiarity: Gain exposure to relevant technologies in aerospace IT and assist in incorporating them into training programs. Learn to use digital tools and platforms for training content development.</li>
<li>Participate in Assessment Activities: Assist in the development and implementation of assessment strategies. Learn to evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and contribute to feedback mechanisms.</li>
<li>Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand training requirements and provide support in ensuring alignment with organizational goals.</li>
<li>Adaptability: Develop adaptability by assisting in adjusting training materials to address changing business needs and industry trends within the aerospace IT sector.</li>
<li>Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and development activities to stay informed about best practices in training design and adult learning.<br /><br /><br /></li>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>Qualifications<br /><br /></strong>KNOWLEDGE &amp; SKILLS<br /><br /></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Aerospace and Border Management IT, or a related field.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of airlines, aerospace, and IT concepts and technologies.</li>
<li>Familiarity with instructional design and video editing software and eagerness to learn more.</li>
<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Familiarity with HTML and CSS languages.<br /><br /><br /></li>
